Building the Profession of Change.
A Singapore-based Centre of Excellence developing the standards, credentials, and resources that make change management a recognized, measurable profession.
Our Story
The Gap We Were Built to Fill
Change Leaders have frameworks. Change Managers have certifications. But the people closest to the work — the Change Agents who bridge strategy and the frontline — have been left without structured support, recognized competencies, or a credential that reflects the real complexity of their role.
Change Agents are typically appointed, not self-selected. They step into one of the most critical roles in any transformation without proper training, a clear competency framework, or a recognized certification. The result: change initiatives that stall not because the strategy is wrong, but because the people making it real are under-equipped.
Change Beacon was built to address this — starting with Change Agents, and expanding across the full change management ecosystem. Our mission is to develop the standards, credentials, and resources that make change management a recognized and sustainable profession.

How We're Built
Independent Certification Body
Change Beacon operates as a dedicated certification body — separate from any training provider. We own the standards, examinations, and credentialing process. Training delivery is exclusively through our authorized ABEP partner network, ensuring no conflict of interest.
Rigour Through Job Task Analysis
Every Change Beacon credential is built on a comprehensive Job Task Analysis (JTA) — a structured methodology that ensures our certifications reflect the real competencies practitioners need, not theoretical frameworks disconnected from practice.
Singapore-Registered
Change Beacon Pte. Ltd. is registered in Singapore — a jurisdiction recognized for strong governance standards and a commitment to professional excellence across Asia and beyond.
Quality Through Partnership
Our ABEP network ensures that candidates receive consistent, high-quality preparation regardless of where they train. Partners are authorized — not just affiliated — and held to Change Beacon's delivery standards.
Leadership
Credentialing Led by Practitioners
Change Beacon's credentialing standards are overseen by an independent Chief Credentialing Officer — ensuring our credentials remain grounded in real-world practice and free from commercial influence.
Nicola Stephens
Chief Credentialing Officer
An executive leadership coach and organizational development practitioner with 30 years across financial services, pharmaceuticals, technology, and logistics. Based in Singapore, Nicola's mandate is to keep Change Beacon's credentials anchored to real-world practice — defining what competent change work actually looks like, shaping the standards practitioners are assessed against, and ensuring every credential is rigorous, fair, and genuinely earned.
